This is what our patients have said:
I am so glad I noticed the advertisement for the Knaphill Foot Clinic in the local paper as I had been having so much trouble with my feet and, being on warfarin, two other chiropodists/podiatrists whom I had contacted previously, said they would be unable to treat me, apart from clipping my toenails – something I was able to do anyway!
I was so impressed when I had my first appointment in January 2014– the room was clean, Barbara was polite and put me at ease, she was helpful and interested in my foot history, saying she was fully qualified to treat me and would soon have me back walking, enjoying keep fit classes and line dancing, something I had not been able to do for several months.
From then on, I have never looked back. A previous chiropodist had told me I had corns on my toes but Barbara realised they were the start of ulcers and immediately treated them accordingly. After the normal treatment of nail cutting, Barbara has treated my painful arches/instep with mobilisation, advised me on orthotics and made a little fitting to wear under my toes. All this has improved my mobility so much, I am again enjoying all that I had done previously, and I cannot emphasise enough how lucky I am to have found this clinic and Barbara. She explains everything, showing me which bones she is discussing by use of a foot model on her desk or from the posters on the wall.
My husband sees Sarah, her partner, and is equally as pleased with her treatment and help.
I came to the Knaphill Foot Leg Clinic on the recommendation of a friend.
I had experienced two years of worsening foot pain unsuccessfully addressing through my GP or a private physiotherapist.
Barbara's manner was calm, friendly and confident. She listened carefully to my story then massaged and manipulated my foot addressing each painful area with care and expertise. After a few sessions the problems in the, muscles and bones of my foot were completely resolved.
I am very grateful.
